Neil is a highly experienced Finance Director with a proven track record of success working with business owners to assess financial performance, identify strategic opportunities and harness optimal routes to sustained growth.
Graduating MA (Hons) Economics & Accounting from The University of Edinburgh, Neil qualified as a Chartered Accountant with global professional services brand of firm, PwC. He went on to join the Silicon Valley tech company Sun Microsystems (now owned by Oracle), and over the next two decades Neil’s upward career trajectory led to five years at the helm as Global Finance Director in the US and UK.
This was followed by highly successful spells as CFO of both Certus, the lifelong technical skills training platform, and a Private Equity backed food business.
Neil has gained deep, first-hand experience in the food and drink, manufacturing and supply chain, and technology sectors, but his calm, personable manner and insightful mind sees him successfully leverage his wealth of expertise in many other areas and business types, from multinationals, to SMEs and startups.
